Brushstrokes from the Soul features art created by individuals who receive services from local assisted living facilities, skilled nursing centers, day stay programs, and retirement communities. Select pieces are available for purchase via silent auction at the art show event.

  • At least 14 million baby boomers, those born between 1946 and 1964, will develop Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia disorder in their lifetime, doubling the number of persons with this disease today. Research has shown that having a strong spiritual background and participating in religious activities can improve the life of someone with Alzheimer’s disease (AD) or other related dementia as well as that of their caregiver.
