Adele Gomez, RN, has extensive experience in the field of mental health, research and psychiatry. She comes to Mind and Brain Care with over seven (7) years of experience in neuropsychological psychometry at Lee Memory Care, Lee Memorial Health Systems. In addition, she has worked as a Clinical Research Coordinator, developing and conducting research projects for the Memory Disorder Clinic in connection with Johnnie B. Byrd Alzheimer’s Research Institute and Department of Elder Affairs. As a nurse, she has served as Nurse Manager for The Inn at Cypress Cove, Director of Nursing Administration for The Lodge at Cypress Cove, Nurse Manager of Crisis Unit at Ruth Cooper Center, and Director of Nursing Administration at Gulf Coast Village.__________________________

Arnette deLeon is a Intern Psychometrist who received her Associate of Arts degree in Liberal Arts from the College of Central Florida in 2013. She is currently attending Florida Gulf Coast University and will be graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, December 2016. After graduation, Arnette is planning to attend graduate school where she will earn her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology with a focus in Neuropsychology.In her free time, Arnette works with My Autism Connection (MAC) where she is a PEERS® (Program for the Education and Enrichment of Relational Skills) Volunteer. In addition to the PEERS® program, she assists MAC with office work and organizing Autism awareness events in the community. Arnette also volunteers with the Naples Equestrian Challenge where she plans to gain experience with both horse and rider. She is working on becoming a certified PATH instructor and eventually wants to open her own therapeutic riding facility.With the time she has left over, Arnette rides and takes care of her own horse, a Half-Arabian gelding with multiple National and Regional titles. They have taken a hiatus from their show career so Arnette can focus on her education but as soon as she is settled into graduate school, the two plan to hit the show ring yet again!__________________________

Roberta Montgomery has extensive experience in the field of mental health, research and psychiatry. Roberta Studied Psychology and Business Marketing at University of South Florida graduating with honors with a BA in Psychology with Business minor. She comes to Mind and Care with over eighteen (18) years of experience in social work, psychometry and medical conference event planner as a social work educator for Lee Memory Care, with Lee Memorial Health System. In addition to serving patients at Mind and Brain Care, Roberta is a counselor at Abuse Counseling Treatment (ACT), where she has served for over 20 years providing support, education and therapy services to individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual assault. Roberta also enjoys a creative passion with her unique handmade gemstone jewelry. With her Bijoux Du Lustre, gemstone jewelry, she takes things a step further using her artistic talent to help fund educational programs for older adults and individuals affected by domestic violence and sexual abuse.—————-
Virginia Garcia, Patient Care Specialist
Virginia Garcia is our bilingual Front Desk Patient Care Specialist. She attends Florida Southwestern State College, where she studies business management. She earned her high school diploma from Island Coast High School. She is working on her Associates Degree at Florida Southwestern College. She is interested in studying osteology and is considering becoming a radiology technician or a Physician’s Assistant in Orthopedics. In her spare time, she enjoys the art of organization and mystery movies.
Emma Fernandes has been a Medical Billing Coordinator for 4 years. Has experience with many different specialties and enjoys the challenge of learning about various medical fields. She is a Spanish-English bilingual. She is passionate regarding every aspect of her career. Emma is caring and delicate when dealing with each individual’s different billing needs. As a wife and mother of 2, she enjoys trips to the library and going to the park with her family. She spends most of her time caring for her family and reading whenever possible.
