Dr. Jeannette Corredor is a bilingual (English-Spanish) licensed psychologist with over 10 years of experience in general practice and providing psychological services to adolescents and adults. She incorporates mindfulness, cognitive behavior therapy and a strengths-based approach to help individuals overcome emotional distress, reduce maladaptive coping and enhance their resilience. Dr. Corredor collaborates with clients to achieve greater life satisfaction and overall well-being.
Throughout her career, Dr. Corredor has worked with diverse populations that presented with a range of mental health concerns including: depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, trauma, ADD/ADHD, learning disabilities, and adjustment difficulties. Dr. Corredor is passionate about Latino mental health issues and has worked in different setting providing culturally sensitive psychology services in Spanish. As a bilingual and bicultural psychologist, Dr. Corredor brings her knowledge and experience addressing Latino mental health needs to her practice.
Dr. Corredor earned her Ph. D. in Counseling Psychology at University at Albany, State University of New York in 2003. She completed her internship at Maimonides Medical Center, a community mental health center in Brooklyn, NY.
