Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center
Mind and Brain Care is a proud supporter of the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center in Lee County, Florida, a local United Way organization providing assistance and support to persons with Alzheimer’s and related dementia and their caregivers. The Dubin Center provides our community with much needed services to support those affected by Alzheimer’s, offers support groups regularly, raises awareness within the community, and provides training to area professionals and the public.
Mind and Brain Care is proud to serve the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Resource Center in providing neuropsychological evaluations to detect dementia and Alzheimer’s, as well as, providing a comprehensive report and feedback session with patient and family on recommendations and treatment plan for maintaining the highest quality of life.
Dr. Mabel Lopez, a Board of Trustee member at the Alvin A. Dubin Alzheimer’s Art Center, has been an avid supporter of the center’s “Brushstrokes for the Soul,” an annual art fundraiser recognizing National Alzheimer’s Awareness Month. Our private art collection showcases drawings by individuals experiencing the various stages of Alzheimer’s disease. Pieces were purchased via silent auction at the art show event.
